David Mathebula, Moroka Swallows midfielder, with lot of pace, skill and knows how to put the ball behind the net. He has scored 10 goals for Swallows and created lot of chances for his teammates. He is always consistent receiving man of the match prices back-of-back. Does he deserve it?
2. OUPA MANYISA ( ORLANDO PIRATES)

Oupa nicknamed "ace", Orlando Pirates midfielder. The heart of Orlando Pirates, he knows how to set a striker with his killer passes and skills, but no luck when it comes to scoring goals. He can make his strikers better by creating scoring chances for them. So is he the one?
3. SIYABONGA NOMVETHE ( MOROKA SWALLOWS)

This player proved everybody wrong, that football is not about age but it's about how you perform on the field of play. He is the current leading goal scorer with 16 goals, he always use his experience, pace and he is good at heading. Does he deserve it?
4. EDWARD MNQELE ( FREE STATE STARS)
Edward mnqele http://www.freestatestars.co.za/ |
The in-form striker, rated as the top finisher, he is young and skillful. He knows how to position himself and knows how to put the ball behind the net. Should we give it to him?
5. SIPHIWE TSHABALALA ( KAIZER CHIEFS)
Siphiwe tshabalalahttp://www.kaizerchiefs.com/ |
The Kaizer Chiefs dribbling wizzard, he is good at attacking, he is skillful... knows how to pick a goal keeper, one of the best freekick takers in the PSL, always creating scoring opportunities for his teammates. Is he the one?
OTHER PLAYERS
- GEORGE MALULEKA (AJAX CAPE TOWN)
- ERICK MATHOHO ( BLOEM CELTIC)
- NYASHA MUSHEKWI ( SUNDOWNS)
without the doubt i give DVD the player of the year is a player who can change the game and he can able to play left and right.
ReplyDeletei agree with you trott, though he has no luck when it comes to national senior team call-up
DeleteAgree with you guys DVD deserve it and no doubts about. He becane a star after Chiefs dumped him and he has brought a lot of competitions in the Psl this season showing what he's capable of.
ReplyDeletei dont know much about soccer but i'll go for siyabonga nomvete because he is one of the oldest players and he's still doing well at his age.
ReplyDeleteyeah dudu, he showed that football is not about age
DeleteMathebula is my player of the season, he has shown a lot of improvement after being sacked by Kaizer Chiefs. He has shown great potential and I think he will do a lot better next season because his form is back and he is also confident.
ReplyDeleteNomvethe has been prolific this season, he has being consistant in front of goal-mouth regardless of his age. I just don't understand why he's not getting a cll-up from the South African national team.
ReplyDeleteatleast now pitso has realised that the squad seriously need the experience of nomvethe
Deletebeing a lady and knowing nothing about soccer id go with Benny Mcarthy,he has made a tremendous come back and hes still going strong
ReplyDeletethe reason why i have'nt nominated Benni is he only played the second round of the campaign, he is the best indeed
Deletei am clueless when it comes to soccer but i must say DVD is really making his mark
ReplyDeleteNokuthula yeah right DVD deserves it, hopefully he will go home with it

ReplyDeletebut mathebula is the man tsholo
Deleteey man it`s really hard to say this one is the best for me because you have just selected the best players in PSL but for me Simpiwe Tshabalala can change the game both for chiefs and Bafana,he can play a good football for chiefs but at the same time he doesn`t forget his country
ReplyDeleteyeah man i do understand but he was'nt consistent as mathebula, yes he can change the game but what really matters is consistency
